Pepi Feinblatt Mosaics and Assemblage Pepi's Biography

Pepi Feinblatt creates mosaics from found, salvaged and donated items.   A mural on her back yard wall, surrounding the patio, is her major creation, and the reason she began doing mosaics.   The natural world inspires this mural.
After retiring as a paralegal, she took a mosaic class at Pasadena Habitat for Humanity Restore.   Starting in October of 2008, she completed a 12 foot wide by 7 foot high back wall in February 2011.  Work is mostly completed on the 19 foot wide by 4 1/2 foot high south wall.
She decorates frames and pots, often per customer specs, selling at craft shows, and to family and friends.
Mosaic materials include tiles, pottery and ceramics, glass, stones, beads, metal, jewelry, buttons and other stuff much of which are found, or purchased at yard sales, thrift stores, or friends and family donate.   Pots are new or lightly used and frames are purchased at yard sales and thrift stores.
